CAR WASH Sunday, May 18th at the Sears Auto Center, Volusia Mall Thanks to our volunteers at Port Orange Presbyterian, our patrons, and the employees of the Sears Auto Center for making a fun and exciting fund-raising event for the STAR Center. The Port Orange Presbyterian Youth Group raised $351 in just over 3 hours. MASSAGE FUNDRAISER Wednesday, June 25th at Daytona College
THANK YOU to Daytona College who hosted a massage event to benefit The STAR Center on Wednesday, June 25th. WVYB "The VYB" was onsite with a Live Remote while the college offered chair massages for donations. The college's clinic also offered 1 hour, full-body massages for only $25. All proceeds from this event were donated to the STAR Center. Upcoming Events FROM THE START TO THE FINISH "RACING TO END HOMELESSNESS AND POVERTY HOUSING" BENEFIT Saturday, July 5th, Daytona International Speedway, 4 PM to 8 PM The Daytona International Speedway, is hosting this event to benefit The STAR Center (start) and Halifax Habitat for Humanity (finish) Tickets to this event include: Food and Beverage in an Air-Conditioned atmosphere; Admission to the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola, presentation by guest speaker Joe Gibbs, In-Field Parking; Seating in the "Pit-Row Patio"; Fan-Zone Access; Post-Race Fireworks Show; and more. Tickets are $75 per adult and $50 per child (12 and under). Call 1-800-PIT-SHOP and ask for the "racing to end homeless" benefit tickets.
