How You Can Help
Monetary donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated. Currently we accept checks or money orders payable to the Homeless Assistance Corporation. There are always other ways you can donate as well. Please click on the Wish List link above to see items that we need on a regular basis. Also, the facility is always in need of blankets or coats in the winter time. If you would like to volunteer your time, the facility is in need of extra helping hands and welcomes volunteers. Please contact the facility at 386-252-9400 for further information about donating or volunteering. 37% of homeless used the emergency room for basic medical care down from 68% in the previous year. We believe that this is because of our partnership with UCF medical student who give care at the facility. This means that the public is saving a lot of money on indigent care. We currently feed an average of over 300 people per day, 7 days a week, with our partner Halifax Urban Ministries. We provide meals for 1,200 unique individuals per month. We provide clothing for over 400 people per month. We provide more than 2,500 blankets every winter. We provide case management for all clients in our facility, which is intended to end homelessness. Please help. We can't do it without you.
